Specially selected fully matured 6 year old fresh ginseng roots are washed with the outer skin intact, then steamed and sun dried which gives it its distinctive red colour.The individual roots are graded into the categories of Heaven, Earth & Good. After grading they are placed in a vacuum packed wooden box inside a protective tin.
The harvest year is marked on the outer tin, with the packing date stamped on the inside and, unopened, can be kept for up to 10 years.
Once opened, keep in a sealed bag.
